Tina’s varied and impressive career began in television, where she anchored and reported news and features for more than 10 years. Her television experience includes working for Ted Turner’s WTBS in Atlanta, Georgia and WRAL-TV in Raleigh, North Carolina. After performing in numerous musical theater productions in the Raleigh area, Tina began singing professionally.
For five years Tina produced, emceed, and sang lead and backup for the “Country Music Showcase” in Johnston County, then joined the cast of the “American Music Jubilee” in Selma, NC, where she performed for seven years.
Tina’s versatility, enthusiasm and energy led her to create a musical character education program that she performs for elementary schools. She uses her writing and television background to free-lance as a scriptwriter and talent for educational videos. She also writes, produces and appears in television commercials, and has written two children’s books.
